Yoga on 6th is an ideal, supportive environment in which to practice both Bikram and Power yoga. Our students, whether they've been practicing with us since our opening in 2002 or are brand new to our studio, are welcomed to a true community environment. BIKRAM YOGA
is a demanding 26 pose (asana) series. The yoga is conducted in a heated room to warm up your whole body, and allows you to work deep into your muscles, tendons and ligaments to change your body from the inside out.
POWER YOGA
takes the best of Eastern traditions while recognizing our need for a vigorous workout without destroying our aging joints in the process. Each class is exercise with a little enlightenment on the side; it's yoga as exercise and exercise as therapy.

November is a time of giving thanks

This month I ask you to consider what amazing abundance you have in your life right NOW, not only on Nov. 27th but today, at this one moment. Whether it is the vastness of an incredibly blue cloudless sky, a full glass of clear water, or the family you sit down with at dinner. You are amazingly blessed.

Amy and I had a wonderful, amazing week at Boot camp surrounded by inspiring teachers- Baron, Gregor, the assistants, and all the fellow participants. Each of us is a teacher to the people we come in contact with. You can live your life as an example or as a warning. How do you choose to live?

Each of us has challenges and opportunities and sometimes they are the same. So this month I encourage you to make the most of what you have been given, what you have right now, and let it grow. Share your light with the world and let us all reflect that light back to you. You will be amazed by how powerful, light and divine you are. Looking forward to seeing you in class

        Friday: 6:15 pm - 10:00pm
        Saturday: 10:15am - 9:45pm
        Sunday: 9:45am - 4:15pm
  • You will gain an in-depth appreciation of the biomechanical and physiological aspects of the Baptiste Journey Into Power Flow.
  • You will hone working with a teacher to deepen the students' experience of their practice
  • You will experience yourself as an instrument to students' transformation. In turn, you'll become a powerful agent of transformation in your own life.
  • You will learn to assist with confidence, authority and intuitive awareness rooted in clear technical knowledge.
  • You will feel the freedom of being in service to an expression larger than oneself.
  • You will experience assisting as a magical extension of your own asana practice.
A good assist in class will guide students deeper into their practice creating an awareness that may have taken years to cultivate. A certificate for 20 hours of hands-on adjustments training is awarded to those who successfully complete this workshop.

  • Sun Salutation A & B, Chaturanga, Downward Dog & Upward Dog
  • Warrior/Crescent Lunge Series & Twisting Series
  • Balance Series (Partners for Advanced Asanas)

  • Abdominal Series
  • Inversions (Handstand, Forearm Balance, Headstand, Shoulderstand, Partners)
  • Hip Opening Series, Surrender to Gravity (Thai Yoga & Traction) and Final Review

Susie Warta with KatSu has filled up our retail space with an amazing array of yoga clothes, active ware and casual threads. Materials used for this clothing include bamboo, organic cotton and much more and come in all colors, shapes and sizes.

Yoga Sculpt is a one hour, total body workout designed to tone and sculpt every muscle group. Hand held weights (2lb, 5lb, or 8lb) are used while moving though sun salutations. This is a demanding sequence that gives extra length and depth to each posture while building strength, lean muscle mass and compliments your current yoga practice. At one hour, it makes for the perfect lunch break or late evening class!
